- 5 Australian delegates of LIONS CLUB visited ZRTI on 28.01.2012 & discussed on various methods of training.
- Pompously celebrated 63rd Republic Day in the parade ground.
- Hindi Quiz conducted on 19.01.2012 for trainees.
- On 12.01.2012, CSO/CR Shri. Avinash Garekar interacted with trainees on safety related issues.
- Live demonstration on Fire Fighting organised on 11.01.2012.
Measures to prevent SPAD cases
- Ensure provision & functioning of VCD.
- Ensure continuous visibility & correct calling out of signals.
- Ensure adequacy of brake power in the train.
- Be familiar with road and load of the train.
- Conduct frequent ambush checks with the help of speed guns.
